ABOUT ME

Putting Residents First
I am so excited to be a candidate for a Board Trustee Position in Hawthorn Woods. While this is a non partisan, volunteer position, it requires your VOTE on Tuesday, April 2nd.
My husband and I with our two daughters, Zinachidi (7th Grade, Middle School North) and Yadilinna (5th Grade, Spencer Loomis) moved here last year as a result of my husband's job with Walgreens. We immediately fell in the love with the beautiful trees, family friendly environment and welcoming neighbors. My family and I attend Chapel Church.
As a mom, I am passionate about my local community, roads, schools, and safety of all children. My father is Nigerian and my mother is American. I lived in Nigeria until I was teenager, then relocated to Anderson, South Carolina. I attended Lander University for Undergrad and Clemson University for Graduate Studies (MBA). I studied abroad in England and it was an amazing experience. I have also lived in Upstate New York, San Jose, California, Atlanta, Georgia, and the suburbs of Louisiana. This really helped me to understand and respect different beliefs and cultures.
I worked in Corporate America for over 17 years traveling the world and working across global teams as an Internal Auditor. Currently, I am a small business owner and founder of Dare 2 Aspire Conference. Dare 2 Aspire is a conference aimed at encouraging Moms to start and grow a small business. I am an author and podcaster.
I am a good listener and love solving problems. I am not a politician. I am a mom who loves working in a team environment who brings a fresh perspective and knows how to get things done.
I will always put the residents of Hawthorn Woods first.
